Lesbian Gay Street Festival Berlin from 21 to 22 July 2018
Europe's biggest lesbian-gay street festival will turn the area around Nollendorfplatz and Motzstraße in Berlin into a huge party mile for the 26th time on the weekend before the Berlin Christopher Street Day.
Under the motto "Equal rights for unequal people - worldwide", this festival of love offers its visitors an extensive programme with national and international bands from all musical genres. Along streets like Motzstraße, Fuggerstraße or Bülowstraße, information stands, stalls with food, drinks and accessory shops attract a broad audience of over 350,000 visitors from all over the world. The highlight is the celebrity talk show "Das Wilde Sofa", where guests from politics and culture are put through their paces on Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 pm. Another highlight is the Rainbow Award, which is presented every year to a person or group who has rendered outstanding services to lesbian-gay issues.
