A special treat is the summer program in Schöneweide, the green jewel on the Spree, deep in the heart of the former industrial area. The opening concert, with the Bottom Orchestra as the first of several large ensembles, connects the music scenes of Cologne, Basel, and Berlin. The close link between the musicians is further intensified when, a few weeks later, the Philipp Rumsch Ensemble performs with young talents from Leipzig, Berlin, and beyond. In August, guitarist Joe Sachse brings his fiery style to the stage with trombonist Nils Wogram.
