Finally it's time again - on 31 August, around 80 Berlin museums and exhibitions, including neighbourhood tours, will open their doors to the interested public for the Long Night of the Museums.

This is how the Big Five are from Museum Island.

A few participating museums:

Old National Gallery
Old Museum
Dali - The exhibition at Potsdamer Platz
German Historical Museum
Jewish Museum
New Museum

etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., This "Long Night" is an extraordinary. The Long Night of Museums celebrates its 22nd birthday! 1997 was the first "Long Night" with 18 buildings opening their doors. Nobody could have imagined that it would develop into an international event from then on, as it has now spread all over the world.
Numerous open-air events will take place, and another highlight will be the "Kiez-Tours", which will take place in original vintage buses. They are real buses from the 60s and 70s. For all open-air films the fans of the Podewiler Hof will be of great interest. If you don't make it to the Long Night of the Museums, you can still find discounted tickets for the most important venues in our Berlin Tickets category.
