Open House of the German Government - 25 and 26 August 2018
This is already the 19th "Invitation to a state visit" at which the government quarter will give you an insight into the Federal Chancellery,
the Press and Information Office and the 14 federal ministries at the "Open House of the German Government". Hundreds of thousands of visitors will then have the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the Federal Government. Go on a journey of discovery through a wide range of information and entertainment. You can find out about the work of the Federal Government, no matter whether it is a matter of better compatibility of family and career, educational and promotion opportunities, entrepreneurial initiatives or social commitment. You can also visit building that are usually not open to the public. Have some Discussions with top politicians, the employees will also be happy to tell you about their daily work. The highlight will of course be a visit by Angela Merkel, when she takes time for the visitors on Sunday afternoon. A free shuttle service makes it possible to visit all event locations from 10 am to 6 pm.
