Berlin lights up from September 30 to October 15
After it got dark many buildings in Berlin will be covered in fascinating light. A special highlight is always the Brandenburg Gate.

Festival of Lights from October 6 until October 10
Every year in October the Festival of Lights enchants our city. Brightly illuminated, many buildings of Berlin will be fantastically presented. On October 6, at 7 pm, the light show will start. There will be even a Festival of Lights Award for 2017. International artists compete with their projection mappings. What awaits you here? Just go to the television tower in the evening, look at the west side of the shaft and convince yourself. Every evening, from 7 till 12 it will be illuminated

Octoberfest at the Kurt Schumacherdamm until October 15
Like every year, the largest Oktoberfest in Berlin is on the Festplatz. A huge pavilion, decorated in Bavarian style will invite you to the party.

Family Tip!
Long Family Night on October 7.
For the big ones and the little ones, the long family night takes place on the 7th of October. For parents and children up to 14 years, doors and gates will be opened from 5 pm until midnight. 152 events with more than 200 actors will make this day a wonderful family day. It is all about drumming and dancing, fairy tales coming to life, flashlight treasure hunts, a journey into the Middle Ages, theatrical performances, a search for foxes at night, elves and geysers dancing through the night, bright colors in the southern terrain - colors, forms and fantasies, guides through the RBB Studio... and so much more that you can experience on this day!
German Bowl XXXIX on October 7
Finally, it’s time again! On 7th October the final of the German Bowl will take place in Berlin. And, of course, at the end of the finale Queen's "We Are the Champions" will play once again. Obama: An Intimate Portrait from October 12 until February 11, 2018
At the museum "The Kennedys" you can see a special exhibition about former American President, Barack Obama.
