Musikfest Berlin in the Philharmonie and Konzerthaus - from 30 August to 19 September 2019
Emerging from the traditional Berliner Festwochen, the Musikfest in the Philharmonie and Konzerthaus is the largest festival for orchestral music in Berlin.
Until September 19, 26 events will be performed with over 65 works by 25 composers, performed by over 20 orchestras, instrumental and vocal ensembles as well as a large number of soloists from international musical life and Berlin as a music location.
It presents current world premieres and first performances as well as important international joint productions. There is probably no important orchestra in the world that has not played here before. From Wilhelm Furtwängler to Leonard Bernstein and Herbert von Karajan. In addition to the stars, the musikfest always presents new names to discover.
