Berlin Mural Fest - from 19 to 21 May 2018
From May 19 to 21, our capital will become a huge open-air gallery thanks to the "Berlin Mural Fest". More than 100 artists, including renowned street artists such as El Bocho or Klebebande, have so-called "Murals" (murals) created all over the city.
Street art is booming in Berlin. In 2017, numerous street art exhibitions have already inspired thousands of visitors with graffiti installations and contemporary art. The "Berlin Mural Fest" promises to further heat up this trend. Under the slogan "Stiff necks guaranteed" , small walls, large walls, trendy districts and neighbourhoods will shine in a new splendour of colour on an area of over 10,000 square metres. In addition, several bands and break dancers will perform at Moritzplatz, East Side Gallery and Rosenthaler Platz.
