Escape Attempt from the GDR - The Berlin Wall Tour for School Classes with a Contemporary Witness
On this tour you and your students are on the trail of Wieland Hermann's escape attempt. Why did people want to escape from the GDR as young people? Further focal points of the tour are his imprisonment at the “Stasi-Jail Hohenschönhausen” and his forced entry into the NVA, the "National People's Army".
A unique, exciting biography tour, where your students will also learn more about the fall of the Wall, a new beginning and why Wieland not only thinks badly of the GDR. You will visit the Berlin Wall Memorial and the former border area.
