In the middle of the hilly Volkspark Friedrichshain there is Berlin's largest open-air cinema. With 1500 seats on comfortable benches surrounded by green trees, this amphitheatre is huge! Open-air cinema "Island in Cassiopeia" - The best atmosphere!
For 12 years, Cassiopeia has been offering the finest outdoor cinema fun on the RAW grounds. The famous nightclub is not only a place for hilarious parties but is also equipped with a large screen and a varied film program. Under a beautiful starry sky, surrounded by converted industrial ruins, a very special atmosphere can be found here. Open-air cinema Kreuzberg - The Oldest in Berlin!
In the Kunstquartier Bethanien Berlin's oldest open-air cinema can be found, changing film reels for over 25 years. In the courtyard of the Kunstquartier Bethanien all films are shown in their original language: Russian, Spanish, English or French films with German subtitles, including highlights of the current cinema season, as well as classics and cult films. Every day a different film is shown, films always start at 9.30 pm. Dogs are also allowed on a leash. In addition, the cinema ticket (cost: 7.50 euros) gives free entry to the party series Café Fatal at SO36 every Sunday.

Open-air cinema Hasenheide - surrounded by nature!
For more than 20 years there has been a daily changing program in the open-air cinema Hasenheide, which can be found in the middle of the park of the same name. Every second Wednesday highlights from the previous year are on the program; on all other days there is a mix of independent cinema and original language flicks with subtitles. On special occasions, the cinema also invites directors and actors. Surrounded by a lot of nature, visitors can relax here on warm summer evenings from the daily stress of the big city. If it rains, umbrellas will be provided free of charge. You should pack your own blankets and tasty snacks.

Open-air cinema Kulturforum im Tiergarten - Open-air cinema in the city jungle
From July 4 to September 2, up to 1,000 visitors can sit comfortably on deckchairs in front of the impressive skyline of Potsdamer Platz in the immediate vicinity of the Sony Center and Berlin Phillharmonie and watch current blockbusters on a huge screen. Events such as "Art in the Cinema - Exhibition On Screen", which present American Impressionist art or video diaries by world travellers, will also take place. The cooperation with the channel Arte brings a short film into the pre-program every evening.
