In 1932 it opened in the premises of the former Café of the West, which was already in its time a local bar for the rebel painters of the secession, the expressionists and dadaists, and turned into the famous Berlin café Kranzler. Here German history was written, everyone of distinction sipped his or her coffee here, from John F. Kennedy to Marlene Dietrich. After a lengthy refurbishment, the Kranzlereck reopened in 2017, and included many new venues for a leisurely shopping. The coffee house itself has been adapted to a new contemporary style. There is a wide selection of coffee variations brewed by professional baristas. The breakfast buffet has great cakes, ice cream and sweets, cocoa and drinks. In addition, you have a great 360 ° view over the Ku'Damm. The Café Kranzler is a great place with a great view, a special atmosphere and friendly service. It should be on everybody’s to-do lists.
