Brauhaus Lemke
A classy and cozy brewery near Hackesche Höfe. Enjoy delicious German dishes and freshly brewed beers, plus a beer garden in the summer.
From a dropped business studies degree to becoming a brewer – this is the story of founder Oli Lemke. He traveled the globe to gain experience, and in 1998, he welded his first brewing system in a friend's garage.
Fueled by enthusiasm and a group of supportive friends, his dream came true on November 21, 1999. A rundown S-Bahn arch was renovated, and the first beer was sold.
That was long ago. Today, with three locations at Hackescher Markt, Charlottenburg Palace, and Alexanderplatz, the Lemke team brews and sells their beer, which is now also available in bottles.
But it’s not just beer enthusiasts who will be delighted here. Culinary offerings abound as well, from potato soup and meatballs to steak, salad, vegetarian, and vegan options—there’s something for every appetite, big or small.
And if you’ve ever wanted to know how Lemke beer is brewed, why not take a guided tour into the world of beer, whether with friends, family, or on your own?
