This shop specializes in the preparation of Poké Bowls. Poké (pronounced poh-keh) are something like sushi salads and a food trend that has its roots in Hawaii and is found in only a few places in Germany. They are salad-like dishes with vegetables, rice, fish and various sauces. Similar to Subway in a self-service manner you can put the bowls together by yourself. You first choose the base, for example brown rice or sushi rice, then choose the fish, and finally the vegetables and the sauce. Instead of fish you can also choose tofu. The food is fresh, healthy and tasty. The raw fish and vegetables make a nice light meal and the portions are huge. Unfortunately, the bowls are not cheap, a Poke Bowl with fish costs 12 euros, if you choose tofu, then 10 euros. The ambience is very cozy and exotic. Lots of green plants on a shelf, big mirrors that make the restaurant seem very spacious, and at the window you even have the opportunity to sit on a swing. It is always crowded, as there are only about 15 seats and it is very popular. The service is very nice and helpful. If you are looking for an exotic restaurant, this would be your first choice. Absolutely recommendable!
