Our Top 5 Burger-Restraurants in Berlin

Berlin has become a burger town! There have never been so many burger shops as there are now; the burger boom is in full swing!

With high-quality ingredients and with a lot of sophistication, these restaurants turn the classic hamburger into a full-fledged main course. That sounds like an interesting concept. That's why we went through the "effort"  to try the most popular burger restaurants and introduce to you our top 5.

5. Shiso burger

In 5th place comes something very exotic. They call their burgers "the best of two worlds" because they combine Western cuisine with Asian. Sounds weird? Yes, but this is also the source of tasty masterpieces, such as the "Shiso Burger", with teriyaki sauce, marinated tuna and Japanese Shiso, or the popular "Chili Lemon Burger". As the name implies, it has its very own touch. For 2.90 € extra, you can even upgrade your burgers with wagyu (quality beef from Japan). By the way, the food is made fresh in front of your eyes, and then served in an authentic dumpling basket. Absolutely worth a visit!

Address: Auguststraße 29 c, 10119 Berlin
Opening hours: 12: 00-00: 00

4. Schiller Burger

At 4. place comes the "Schiller Burger" from Neukölln. Here are the best sweet potato fries served in Berlin, and in the attached bakery, the rolls are freshly baked every day! Actually the burgers are named after famous poets and their works here. Try the "Wallenstein", a Chilli-cheeseburger with cherry-paprika, jalapenos and of course delicious chilli-cheese, or the "Bürgschaft", with juicy cooked pulled pork meat, coleslaw and BBQ-sauce. In addition to the fries, there are also home-made sauces such as mango fresh, or aioli. Heavenly! The store is quite narrow, and it can get crowded at times, but the burgers are worth the wait!

Address: Herrfurthstrasse 7, 12049 Berlin
Opening hours: 12: 00-01: 00

3. Supreme Burger

As the name implies, these burgers are "Supreme"! Located right next to the Monbijou Park, this excellent burger restaurant has high-quality interior design and upholstered seats. The look is very appealing here, the ketchup is served in flip-top bottles and instead of on a plate, the burgers are brought in a wooden box. My personal favorite is the "Blue Cheeseburger", with a homemade lemon ice tea, and blue cheese chicken wings. The food tastes good and the service is friendly. What more do you want?

2. Zsa Zsa burger

This somewhat inconspicuous restaurant on Motzstraße serves some of the best burgers in the city! Over 20 different burgers await you here! Here are all sorts of exotic ingredients used, such as "The Norvegian Burger", this is a salmon burger with garden vegetables, grilled zucchini and Remouladensouce. Also recommended is "The Silence of the Lambs", with lamb and red curry dip. It is also always available to choose whether you would rather have white or wholemeal rolls, which are also freshly baked every day.

Address: Motzstrasse 28, 10777 Berlin

1. Burgeramt

We have to admit that there is no special insider tip at No. 1, because the Burgeramt has been known by many burger lovers for a long time, and has been enjoying a good reputation for years, and rightly so! You just cannot avoid it if you are looking for the best burgers in the city. The Burgeramt on Boxhagener Platz captivates with its high quality and pulsating atmosphere, which reflects Berlin's city life very well. The whole day, until late at night it is always fully visited here. Halloumiburger, chicken peanut burger or chilli cheeseburger ... with this menu you cannot make a mistake. Our absolute recommendation!
