One of the most famous venues on the RAW- area in the district of Friedrichshain is the Astra Club.

Back in the GDR times, this location was the cultural venue of the GDR train workers. This concert hall has several bars and a big outside beer garden.
Famous artists like Lykke Li, Florence and the Machine or Paul van Dyk have played the Astra. Music styles vary and parties there can be about pop, rock, indie, punk or electronic music. So fans of different music genres go to party in Astra. Up to 1500 people fit in the Astra, people partying there are rather young, nights there can be legendary and parties actually start at 1 am.
