Eine Führung durch den Park am Gleisdreieck Berlin am 21. April 2023

Nehmen Sie an einer interessanten Tour über die damals verwilderten, stillgelegten Gleisanlagen der Anhalter Bahntrasse teil, heute der Park am Gleisdreieck.

Der Park am Gleisdreieck befindet sich auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Anhalter-Güterbahnhofs und ist Teil des umfangreichen Grünzugs entlang der ehemaligen Bahntrasse, die vom Potsdamer Platz bis zum Bahnhof Südkreuz führt.

Das Besondere am Park am Gleisdreieck ist die Verbindung von urbanem Flair und Naturerlebnis. Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Güterbahnhofs wachsen heute zahlreiche Bäume, Sträucher und Wildblumen. Außerdem gibt es einen Naturlehrpfad, auf dem Besucher mehr über die Tier- und Pflanzenwelt des Parks erfahren können.

Stadtnatur im Park am Gleisdreieck

Auf dieser vielseitigen, unterhaltsamen und alle Sinne ansprechenden Parkführung lässt sich vieles über unsere Stadtnatur erfahren. Bereits zur Bundesgartenschau 1995 entstand die Idee, die verwilderten, stillgelegten Gleisanlagen der Anhalter Bahntrasse als durchgehende Verbindung von Kreuzberg bis zum Insulaner mit Übergang nach Steglitz in die sogenannte „Grüntangente“ umzuwandeln.

Mit Hilfe von Bürgerinitiativen, Verhandlungen und Wettbewerben haben die Berliner nun eine gelungene Umsetzung diverser perlenkettenartiger Themengärten, deren Konzepte, Bepflanzungen und stadtgeschichtlichen Hintergründe die Teilnehmenden auf dieser Halbtagestour kennenlernen werden. Nebenher werden wir an diesem Termin das Erkennen und Bestimmen der frisch ausschlagenden und blühenden Gehölze entdecken.
